Black Dog Graphics started in Clinton, Maine in 1993 with the solid philosophy of providing cutting edge creative designs and the highest quality printing and products.

We make sure we get the work done on time and for a reasonable price, knowing we will slowly build a loyal customer base. However, behind that simple philosophy there are two important things that I realized from the start that have helped me make Black Dog Graphics the company it is today.

The first is that people from Maine are cautious towards business, especially a new business. Knowing this, I knew I would need to prove myself, and my work, but once I did my customers would never switch to another screen printer. With this in mind I was prepared to hang in there while Black Dog Graphics took root.

The second thing is that a business such as mine needed a nitch product and service to set me apart from the competition. Low price is not a market nitch; it is a recipe for failure. Quality products, excellent customer service and reasonable prices are the recipe for a successful business with staying power in the business world.
